Currently working on my thesis in low-dimensional topology particularly knot theory and braid groups, my interests in computer science and mathematics also include computational complexity theory and combinatorial game theory. I am a big fan of GNU/Linux and Emacs. I code in Python and C++. My GitHub account has some interesting repos including a solution manual I have written.

Besides mathematics, I am studying the violin and music theory, having received formal musical training from Bal Mukunda Music College. I read classics and Russian literature, especially Dostoevsky.

It is impossible to be a mathematician without being a poet in soul.
β€” Sofia Kovalevskaya, Russian mathematician

Young man, in mathematics you don't understand things. You just get used to them.
β€” John von Neumann, Hungarian-American polymath

It [Mathematics] is more absorbing than chess, more of a gamble than poker, and lasts longer than Monopoly. It's free. It can be played anywhere - Archimedes did it in a bathtub.
β€” Richard J. Trudeau, mathematics author
